Advanced Placement and CLEP credit
Holy Spirit College accepts student scores from both the Advanced Placement (AP) and the College Level Examination Placement (CLEP) examinations for credit toward a student's undergraduate graduation requirements. A maximum of four courses will be accepted for exemption. At the discretion of the Provost, courses in excess of the four permitted for credit may allow a student to exempt a core course and select an elective or non-core course required for the student's major.
Advanced Placement Policy - A minimum score of three is accepted in all AP subject areas except U.S. Government & Politics, which requires a minimum score of four. Advanced Placement credit will not be accepted for Western Civilization.
College Level Examination Placement (CLEP) Policy - A minimum score of 50 is accepted.
Students planning to complete their degree at Ave Maria University should request that the Registrar of Holy Spirit College verify prevailing policies at that institution.
